Album 1: Contains a picture story of company 801 SP-6-C who were stationed at Colorado State Fair Grounds Work Project and at Pueblo Mountain Park, Beulah, Colorado; numerous pictures of construction sites and men eating, at work, and relaxing. Digital version here.

Biographical / Historical

John H. Wheat, 2547 SCS-9-C, Elbert Colorado. Died April 15, 1978 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was married to Mary Jane Wheat and they had five children. He was a Pueblo resident for 42 years, and was photographer during WPA/CC. He was a retired engineer for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad.
